Burning bronze... Bobbi's eyeshadow

It was a friday nite, and I had kenduri after office.

Darn...totally forgot alllll about it... didn't bring a suitable baju kurung for kenduri, and didn't bring my makeup kit. 

And my hair is a mess!

What should I do?

"Try asking the Bobbi Brown makeup artist to do for you...They can do it very nicely for you..."

That's what my friend told me. I was curious...and intrigued at the same time.

Its been a while since I sat down, become a princess and let other people made me up. LOL!

So after washing and blowing my hair @ SAW Salon KLCC (I heart this place~), so I stopped by the Bobbi Brown counter...

The MUA was sooo nice. I told her, I wanted something coral-ish on my lips and cheek. And she matched some really rich gold, almost bronzed coloured eyeshadows to match. 

Orangey Corals and Bronzey Greens... Nice combo :)

Since Bobbi was having a promo at that time, which is they knock off RM50 for purchase above RM300, I managed to get 5 items for only RM315. Great bargain ey?

Glossy Gloss ! - MAC Cremesheen Glass Lipgloss

Bangun lambat yet again! Ouch...I need to be more organised! I pat baby Ammar to sleep, left his his daddy, mandi, tuka baju and whoosh! I'm on the go!

Aww...he's sad because I had to leave him for work yet again...

 Thank god the traffic was great! Looks like a not-so-busy friday...wonder why. Hmm...

As usual, its bersiap time in the car (I never have time to properly get dressed at home, so need to do a quick touch up in the car)

MAC Cremesheen Glass in OVERINDULGENCE

Haven't used this one for a long time! Application was slightly less sticky and less thick than Bobbi's. Emm.. no smell, but colour's pretty nice!

Yes, I do wear Hijab to the office...First step of going towards being a better Muslimah InsyaAllah...  (hu hu hu)

Looks quite ok ya? 

Looks slightly on the reddish side though..nice!

You can buy MAC's range of Cremesheen Glass Lipgloss @ RM 60 sumthing I believe, at their boutiques. 

Cremesheen has a nice balance of creamy, and slightly shimmery texture, just what I prefer.

Last minute emergency fix!

Ahahahaha...as the post suggests, this was the time when I needed an emergency fix for a moisturiser, because:-

- Went back from perlis for a weekend wedding, and my skin went extremely dry and developed rashes at the side..darn!

- Moisturiser hilang ntah ke mana...gosh!So I substitute with hubby's Nivea Body Cream. ha ha ha! 

So balik je rumah....I was dumbfounded. Nak pakai apa ek?

I scanned through Mum's dressing table, and I saw... this:-

Aiseh...I think its suitable for my mum's generation, I guess due to the fact that the older generation have drier skin, wrinkles and sagging skin (sorry mum!)

But what the heck, my skin's drying like crazy and I need a fix!

Macam best je texture dia. Oh well, desperation calls for quick measures!!!

TEXTURE

Nice and creamy, definitely suited more to dry skin type. Has a slightly rosy smell....

FINDINGS

Hmm..not bad! I don't actually fancy the smell, but I love the texture! Something that really helped soothe my dry skin. 

After 3 days, I'm back to normal. Yahuu!

CONCLUSION

Possibly somthing I'd like to consider once I'm forty I guess...but after a few usage, I'd say I prefer this better than Hydrationist or the Cyberwhite range. I finally found a moisturiser from Estee that I believe actually works :)

Sky High Lashes - Loreal Collagen Mascara

What a busy day on Jalan Tun Razak...! I woke up slightly late today since I accidentally dozed off after I fed my son. Hahaha... Oh well, have to face the dreaded jam today... sigh...

Coming down from Mexx Highway.. So many cars!!!

I'm officially a victim in the KL Jam. Ha ha ha...

Anyway, no point crying over spilt Milo...arrived slightly late to the parking than usual... 

Since I had to rush out of home today, didn't have time to touch up. 

So my fave place to do it? In the car of course!

Normally, what I need for an open-eyed look would simply be:-

1) Some face powder to dab on the eyelids

2) My fave tool - MASCARA......

Hmm...Got some fine lines under the eyes...Lack of sleep I guess?

Dab on some powder under my eye brows and under my eyes....

With some strokes of Loreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara, walla! Perked up eyes in an instant!

Btw, I don't actually fancy using eyeliner to work. Thus, I believe some slight touches to the eye will do. 

SIMPLE RIGHT? 

U can get this mascara at any Guardian stores, carrying Loreal range of cosmetics.

Youngblood Crushed Mineral Blush

I love YoungBlood products. The colours are so nice and as they are highly pigmented! Sadly, Malaysia doesn't carry YoungBlood cosmetics here and I could only order it online. Their crushed blushers are a must try since they make cheeks look healthy and radiant.

4) BEST LIQUID EYELINER

Silkygirl Precision Liquid Liner

I don't use much eyeliner, but when I go to functions, I use this! Its reliable, its dirt cheap and it does not smudge at all. What more can I ask?

5) BEST PENCIL LINER 

MAC Eye Kohl Liner in Black

This is the only pencil liner that gives me great black colour for that smouldering look, with no smudges. However, its pretty pricey for a liner though.

6) BEST WATERPROOF MASCARA

Lancome Hypnose Mascara

Other mascaras claim they provide volume and length, but none comes near what this baby can do! It's the most PERFECT volumizing, lengthening mascara one could ever want and it lasts for hours!

7) BEST NON-WATERPROOF MASCARA

Loreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara

I absolutely adore this. It also provides the volume I need and cleaning is a breeze! Only wash your face with water and the mascara simply washes off, without using an eye makeup remover. It's that easy!

8) BEST LIPGLOSS

Bobbi Brown Lipgloss

I'm absolutely hearting Ms B's lip gloss. The colour's rich and the smell is so good! Plus, the colours doesn't feel sticky on the lips, and a little goes a loooong way. They come in absolutely natural, yet beautiful creamy colours. Yummm....

9) BEST LIPSTICK

Burberry Beauty Lip Cover Soft Satin Lipstick

If you're not a fan of natural lip colour, then this is probably not for you. But Burberry's lip colour not only looks great and eau natural, it gives you cream finish with very subtle shimmer  Also, their beautiful and stylish packaging adds to a luxurious feeling.

10) BEST PRIMER

Lancome UV Base Pro Primer

I always go back to this Primer. It simply gives you a smooth, velvety finish and makeup slides effortlessly! 

The downside is that the price has already increased to RM140, from the price I previously bought which is RM100. But the investment is definitely worth it...

Don't be turned on with the black colour. It actually smells pretty good. And it really helps to control acne and remove all the dirt and grime. However, application is pretty messy, since its black hehe...

8) BEST MOISTURIZER

Biodroga Golden Caviar Cream 24-Hour Care

I don't actually know the other components inside this cream other than caviar, but it works wonders in terms of pore minimizing, skin refinishing and also moisturizing. I work in an air-conditioned environment, where my skin condition is very much unbalance and this has immensely helped maintain my skin moisture from morning till evening!
